An all-inclusive guest chef series paying homage to Chinese, Sichuan, Korean, Thai and Japanese after-hour restaurants known to inspire great chefs and menus across the country. WASHINGTON D.C. (Apr. 14, 2016) COCHON555 is taking over Washington D.C. with the help of great farmers and notable chefs to celebrate heritage breed pigs and set course for a safer food system. This year, the flavor-studded Cochon555 weekend commences with a pair of guest chef dinners to benefit Piggy Bank. The two charity dinners bring together guest chefs, world-renowned winemakers and beverage experts to create a multi-course, interactive dining experience to benefit Piggy Bank, a genetic sanctuary providing free heritage breed pigs and business plans to emerging family farms. On Friday, April 15 at 9:00PM, the Late Night Asian Speakeasy will be hosted by Chef Scott Drewno of The Source by Wolfgang Puck with an all-star lineup of chefs. The family-style feast will be paired with premium beverage following a reception of hand-crafted Punches featuring Perfect Puree of Napa Valley alongside a special tasting of Martínez Lacuesta Vermouths. The dinner is limited to 40 seats and are currently available online for purchase. Guests should plan to arrive on time for canapés during a highly-spirited reception followed by a sit-down dinners that emphasizes hyper-local ingredients and responsible agriculture.
